Bitefight.
By: Ozzy | September 16th, 2008No goals. No positions. Not even shots to goalie.Only fight, struggle in midfield. That was exactly the post-match review of the last week’s game. Our team drew 0-0 with Trabzonspor in Avni Aker stadium. Both teams played average, and match was totally about surviving in midfield.
Actually,to be objective,a drew against Trabzonspor at their home,is not a bad result. However, the considering point is the lack performance shown by Matias,Serdar Özkan and Bobo.If those three players have played better,it was not impossible to reach to the victory. They did not.Matias was ineffective,Serdar was selfish and Bobo was only roaming in the pitch.Aydın Karabulut, who replaced Holosko because of injury, was lost in the match. He signalled out that he’s still too young to play in the first team.
Ekram Dağ,later replaced Aydın and finally we get in some action, but again,Bobo was too sleepy to see the damn ball and make the damn finishing moves to the ball. When Nobre get in the game,we realised that the reason we are lacking in offence is only about Bobo, but it was too late,Ertuğrul Sağlam did that change at late 80’s of the game, and draw became unavoidable.
The things werent that bad in defence.Zapo and Tomas show their competence, again.Tello tried to join attacks, but Aydın was so effectless,so he jailed into defence. As I’ve mentioned before,Tello is an attacking full back and he’s compeletely useless when he’s struck in defence.Serdar Kurtuluş made some unnecessary moves but he was good.Edouard Cisse, was probably the man of the match, has proved that he has one of the most important roles in the team.He linked the defence and offence nearly perfect, but lacking performance of the offensive players let him no more to do,what bad they were, well were Edouard.Good job.
That was such a boring game and we,fans, did not satisfied by the result.Whatever the score is,the only beautiful thing about that match was hearing “Beşiktaş” screams in Avni Aker.Should be grateful for the fans.
Forza Beşikaş.
